The product of this course was the adaptation of a TESL 920 that I teach face-to-face into a fully online format. This required not only a tremendous amount of design and programming skill to be implemented to create a layout and navigation that condensed and organised a tremendous amount of information, but the complete re-imagining of activities to build social presence, as well as to be fully effective for the online medium. The result is a completely hand-coded website that integrates HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript. It was the first time I took on a project of this scale and complexity that resulted in an online course with 7 modules that covers a 10 week time period. While I was not able to teach this course online as was the intended design, the activities were modified for a face-to-face course that met once a week for 10 weeks that I taught for Framingham State University.
